PAYMENT METHODS AND CANCELLATION POLICY

All prices published on our Website must be paid by debit/credit card or with a PayPal account. Our system is completely confidential and secure and the data provided by users cannot be seen by third parties. Sailing on Merak does not store data in relation to payments made by its users. The information you provide will be sent directly to your bank’s payment gateway. If you need to cancel a booked excursion or request a refund, you must do so by sending an email to info@sailingonmerak.com indicating the booking number, name and date of the excursion. Cancellations and refunds will be settled in accordance with the following cancellation policy. If you cancel your reservation:
• within 7 days from the start of the booked excursion, or within 24 hours of booking (as long as this was made more than 48 hours before the start time), you will be refunded 100% of the amount paid.
• Within 48 hours before the start of the booked excursion, 50% of the amount paid will be retained and the remaining 50% refunded.
• Less than 48 hours before the start of the booked excursion, 100% of the amount paid will be retained, so you will not be entitled to any refund.
These conditions will also apply in the event of resignation or no-show. The relative refund will be made between 24 and 48 hours from the cancellation of the excursion with the same payment method with which the reservation was made and you will be notified by email, WhatsApp message or direct phone call. Once the order is issued, it may take 5-7 business days for debit/credit card refunds to appear in your bank account and 30 days for some foreign cards. Payments made through PayPal will be paid in less than 24 hours.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION OF EXCURSIONS

To book the excursions offered by Sailing on Merak,you must follow the procedure established on the platform. Specifically, you must select the excursion of your interest, the program, the number of participants, etc. and fill out the online booking form on the payment page, with the requested personal data. It is important to review the information provided and correct any errors before making the booking confirmation effective, because once you click on the confirmation tab, you will not be able to change the data. Before booking and paying for an excursion on the Sailing on Merakwebsite, it is essential to contact the number +39 338 7474816,by direct phone call or WhatsApp message, to check the actual availability of the excursion in question. This indication is communicated on the website on each product page and on the order completion page. If the user proceeds to pay for an excursion without having verified its availability as indicated, Sailing on Merak reserves the right to cancel the reservation if it is not possible to organize the selected activity on the chosen date and time. In this case, sailing on Merak staff will contact you to propose an alternative date and time. If the user cannot make the excursion in question on a date and time other than those selected, the total amount paid will be refunded. During the payment process for the excursion on the Website, you indicate that you have read and accepted the Sailing on MerakTerms and Conditions. We recommend that you pay special attention to the Cancellation Policy before making your reservation.

DISPUTES

Pursuant to and for the purposes of articles 1341 and 1342 of the Civil Code, the customer declares to accept the above clauses and for any dispute the Court of Cagliari will be competent.
